Clinician

My name is Jen, and I have been a licensed therapist since 2015. I am a trauma therapist with a specialization in perinatal mental health. My work centers on helping clients develop a deeper understanding of their nervous systems—learning to notice physical cues, respond with intention, and build resilience and emotional balance. This awareness is especially important during pregnancy and the postpartum period, when the nervous system is under increased stress and responsibility. Parents who understand their own nervous systems are better equipped to care for themselves, co-regulate with their children, and model emotional resilience for the next generation.

When possible, I encourage natural healing. Our bodies are designed to heal themselves with the right support, and our brain and central nervous system are no different. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a therapy that intentionally reprocesses a distressing event/thought and allows the brain to resume its natural healing process. There is no “One Size Fits All” approach to therapy. We are all unique, and our therapy approach will reflect that. I will hold space for you and use a variety of therapy techniques to meet you where you are. I have noticed with many of my clients that spirituality is a key component in sustaining therapy goals. You are encouraged to develop a solid faith foundation and to nurture that spiritual part of you.

I look forward to being part of your wellness journey!
